we should just all boycott this, and also stop trying to put HUGE books into movies - it pretty much never works. (i have very strong feeling about Joe Wright's Anna Karenina)
There are still some very good adaptations! Take Armando Iannucci’s David Copperfield. That being said, I remember the sinking feeling I had when I watched Joe Wright’s Anna Karenina - had to switch it off after five minutes.
